REGISTRATION RULES

 

ESSCIRC-ESSDERC 2021 will be a hybrid event, comprising: 

• Educational Events which will be held only online, starting from September 6, 2021(what time?) why August 30?

• 3-days technical Conference (according to the traditional format) to be attended in-person or online.

Information about how to access online events will be posted in due time. If you register for an online event after the start of the Conference, please allow at least 3 business days for your virtual access to be enabled. Registration form for online events will be available until October  2, 2021 (23:59 CET).​

 

DEADLINES

 

Early: until  XX.XX.2021(23:59 Central European Time)

Late:  until August 29, 2021 (23:59 Central European Time)

Registration form for IN-PERSON Conference will be disabled at 00:00 (Central European Time) on 30 August 2021.

Unfortunaltely, due to Covid-19 regulations, on-site registrations will not be accepted in Grenoble at the beginning or during the Conference.( have to better check this with Minatec!) 

​

On the other hand, registration form for online events will be available until October  2, 2021 (23:59 CET).

 

PAPER AUTHORS

 

In order to guarantee inclusion in the final conference program one author must be registered by JUNE 30, the author's deadline.
For each paper independently, at least one co-author is required to register for the Conference (one registration-one paper policy).

The Conference Organizing Committee expects every speaker in a scheduled presentation to register and attend the conference (either online or in-person). If it becomes necessary for a speaker to cancel a presentation, he or she must try to find another presenter immediately, preferably a co-author. Contact the Conference Organizing Committee immediately for any change to a scheduled presentation.
A “no-show” or cancelled presentation can cause serious inconvenience to the attendees and conference organizers. The committee thanks all speakers in advance for their compliance with this request.

 

CONFERENCE FEES

 

Online Conference registration fees include:

• Access to all Conference Scientific Sessions

• Conference Proceedings (link to downloadable pdf files)

An IN-PERSON Conference registration upgrade will be available for all those who will be able to come to Grenoble, provided the Covid-19 evolving situation allows it. Please keep on checking this website for further updates.

​

If you wish to attend the Conference in person, and enjoy:

• Morning and afternoon coffees as in the final program

• Lunches as in the final program

• Welcome Cocktail on September 7, 2021

• Gala Dinner on September 8, 202

an additional fee (€ 300 per person) must be paid.

​

If you come with an accompanying person: 

• ​Additional Welcome Reception ticket: € 30,00

• Additional Gala Dinner ticket: € 95,00

Additional tickets will not be sold at the conference venue.

Unfortunaltely Covid-19 regulations only allow participants to book and purchase their tickets while registering for the Conference (I have to better check this with locations!)

EDUCATIONAL  EVENT FEES

 

Educational Events will be held only online.

There is no registration deadline but please note that registration form will be available until October  2, 2021 (23:59 CET).

You may pay only for only ONE Educational Event or take advantage of the special price which includes ALL Educational Events.

PAYMENTS - cancellation policy - INVOICE

Students must upload a proof of their student status in the registration form. Student registration is available for undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students only. The student rate is not available for post-doctorates.

INVOICE

Registration Fees are in Euro and include 20% French VAT.

The invoice will be issued after the payment is received and mailed to your e-mail address in pdf format.

If your payment is subject to the receipt of our invoice, please send a message to .

Please make sure to type the correct invoice billing address!

A handling fee of 25% of the invoice total will be withheld in case a new invoice with amended data is requested.

PAYMENTS

Fees must be paid in Euro (€) to Sistema Congressi by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, PayPal) or bank transfer. Xpay, the online payment system of Nexi (our payment platform) guarantees the security of the transaction.

If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, you should complete the registration form first. Bank transfer details and instructions are included in the registration confirmation email.

Please note that admission to ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 cannot be guaranteed unless full payment has been received. Where payment is still pending or delayed, registrations will be automatically cancelled without prior notice.

 

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive an automatic registration confirmation from  with the summary of the selected options. If you do not see the email in your inbox then please be sure to check your spam folder in case it got flagged as spam.

If you do not receive this email, either your email was entered incorrectly or your registration is not complete. If this happens, please contact    and do not re-register until further instructions.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

No refund will be possible in case of no-show. In case of cancellation of the in-person events (Conference) for reasons that are beyond the control of the Local Organizing Committee, the in-person registration will be automatically changed into the "online" registration fee and extra cost will be reimbursed. Neither the Local Organizing Committee nor the ORGANIZING SECRETARIAT shall be held liable for any other costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Participants are highly encouraged to provide for their own insurance policy covering such events.

Registration fees for ONLINE ATTENDANCE will not be refunded as all online events (Tutorials/Workshop/Conference) will be availbale on line for at least a month after the in-person Conference (Grenoble, September 7-9, 2021).

 

ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 contents shall be recorded and will be accessible to registered Participants

By participating in ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 hybrid edition, you acknowledge and agree to grant ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 the right to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval. This grant to ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
