MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANIZERS

Dear ESSCIRC ESSDERC community member,
 
We, the Organizing committee of ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021, have reported last March and April that the Conference in September will be held in a hybrid format, which was supposed to be fine-tuned end of June (the percentage of hybrid/in-person was announced to go between 0% to some 50%).

We have very recently got feedback from the local authorities in Grenoble, and from our head employers, CEA-LETI and ST, which imposed us to take a hard decision over the past days.
 
Indeed, our respective employer companies (CEA-Leti and STMicroelectronics), are defending any people grouping in a professional frame for a time duration that goes at least till end of September 2021, to preserve the health for the respective companies’ employees and their guests. The premises of the CEA-Leti (hence Minatec location) are covered by the same rule. No negotiation or waiver is permitted. And this irrespective of any covid vaccination passport for example, which is not allowed to be taken into consideration by the French labor laws.
 
We have hence taken the only decision possible, which is to go for a full virtual conference. It has been a heartbreaking disappointing moment for all the organizing team. 
 

MESSAGE FROM THE CONFERENCE TPC:NEW ALL VIRTUAL PROGRAM!

The program of the full virtual conference will keep the same scientific content and will be organized in 3 sequences:

1) PREAMBLE WEEK: the virtual platform will open on September 6, 2021.
All regular Conference presentations and Educational Events presentations will be available on demand (pdf papers and pdf slides will be available for download)
Access will end on November 30, 2021.

2) INTERACTIVE CONFERENCE WEEK: September 13 - 17, 2021 (3pm - 6pm CEST)

 - Live broadcast of Joint plenary and Key note presentations

 - Live Q&A sessions for all other conference sessions

3) EDUCATIONAL WEEK: September 20-22, 2021, (3pm - 6pm CEST)
- Live Q&A sessions for all Educational Events
