ESSCIRC ESSDERC Organizing Committee is strongly committed to hold an in-person Conference. 

Online attendance will be also available to those who might be unable to travel.

We are putting in place all necessary measures to protect the health & safety of participants and staff, according to the procedures that will be in force at the date of our Conference.

A flexible registration fee policy is foreseen, to accommodate any change that might occur in the future.

Covid-19 indoor capacity limitations force us to offer a limited number of seats: a first-come-first-served basis will be applied for in-person conference registration, therefore we recommend to proceed with the registration as soonest.

REGISTRATION FEES

Early registration deadline ends on July 15, 2021 (23:59 CEST)

In-person Conference registration fees include:

• Morning and afternoon coffees as in the final program

• Lunches as in the final program

• Welcome Cocktail on September 7, 2021

• Gala Dinner on September 8, 2021

Being the Educational Events only online, no payment will be refunded.

PAPER AUTHORS

In order to guarantee inclusion in the final conference program one author must be registered by June 30, 2021 (23:59 GMT -0700), the author deadline. 

For each paper independently, at least one co-author is required to register for the Conference (one registration-one paper policy).

Only IEEE member or non-member fees are allowed to cover the publication of an accepted paper. Student registration fees cannot be used to guarantee the publication of an accepted paper.

The Conference Organizing Committee expects every speaker in a scheduled presentation to register and attend the conference (either online or in-person). If it becomes necessary for a speaker to cancel a presentation, he or she must try to find another presenter immediately, preferably a co-author. Contact the Conference Organizing Committee immediately for any change to a scheduled presentation.

A “no-show” or cancelled presentation can cause serious inconvenience to the attendees and conference organizers. The Committee thanks all speakers in advance for their compliance with this request.

FLEXIBILE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION OFFERING

We understand that during these uncertain times it is difficult for participants to decide how to attend the Conference, whether to join us in Grenoble or to attend virtually.

We hope that our flexible registration offer will reassure and comfort the ESSCIRC ESSDERC communities, and to finally meet in Grenoble.

For this reason, a flexible policy is foreseen to allow the following changes:

1. if you register now for online attendance and decide later that you would like to attend the Conference in Grenoble, you will only be required to make up the price difference in attending on-site; the change will be accepted, to the extent there are still available places in Grenoble. In this case please contact to pay the additional amount for the current registration fee.

2. If you register for the in-person Conference and are unable to travel to Grenoble for reasons of “force majeure” (including international travel bans connected to Covid-19 pandemic or for any reason beyond the control of the Organizing Committees), the in-person registration will be automatically switched to the online registration fee and extra cost will be reimbursed. Neither the Local Organizing Committee nor the ORGANIZING SECRETARIAT shall be held liable for any other costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Delegates are highly encouraged to provide for their own insurance policy covering such events.

3. If you cancel your in-person attendance for any personal reason before July 30, your registration will be switched to online registration and extra cost will be reimbursed less an administrative charge of € 50,00.

4. If you cancel your in-person attendance for any personal reason after July 30, no refund will be possible.

5. No refund will be possible in case of no-show at the in-person Conference.

REGISTRATION POLICY - INVOICE - PAYMENTS

Students must upload a proof of their student status in the registration form. Student registration is available for undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students only. The student rate is not available for post-doctorates.

IEEE members are kindly asked to provide for their membership ID number.

INVOICE

Registration Fees are in Euro and include 20% French VAT.

The invoice will be issued after the payment is received and mailed to your e-mail address in pdf format.

If your payment is subject to the receipt of our invoice, please send a message to .

Please make sure to type the correct invoice billing address!

A handling fee of 25% of the invoice total will be withheld in case a new invoice with amended data is requested.

PAYMENTS

Fees must be paid in Euro (€) to Sistema Congressi by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, PayPal) or bank transfer. Xpay, the online payment system of Nexi (our payment platform) guarantees the security of the transaction.

If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, you should complete the registration form first. Bank transfer details and instructions are included in the registration confirmation email.

Please note that admission to ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 cannot be guaranteed unless full payment has been received. Where payment is still pending or delayed, registrations will be automatically cancelled without prior notice.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 contents shall be recorded and will be accessible to registered Participants

By participating in ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 hybrid edition, you acknowledge and agree to grant ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 the right to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval. This grant to ESSCIRC ESSDERC 2021 includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
